With the cooperation if Ukrainian students that have evacuated to Kitakyushu City, we have been able to create the Ukrainian edition of the “Point and Communicate Guide to Frequently Used Words at the Counter”.
The Point and Communicate Guide contains translations of the words that are frequently used at ward offices and other administrative counters, and also illustrations of the frequently requested identification documents (Residence Card, My Number Card etc.), for ease of communication between municipal office staff and foreign residents. The English, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Nepali editions of the Point and Communicate Guide are available as well.
The Kitakyushu International Association, has made available this Point and Communicate Guide for download on our website, with the hope that it can aid in communication between administrative staff and Ukrainians, not only in Kitakyushu City, but any municipal or regional international association in Japan that is currently supporting refugees from Ukraine.
